The Captain’s Twelve represents the pinnacle of Mountaineer football support: an exclusive club limited to just 12 dedicated supporters. Named in honor of Captain Charles Schreiner, whose pioneering spirit and leadership built the foundation upon which our university stands.
It also pays homage to the first 12 graduates of Schreiner in 1924 and nods to the prestige of being captains of our team.
Just as Captain Schreiner blazed trails in Texas, our Captain’s Twelve members lead the charge in elevating our football program to new heights. Membership contributions will directly support Mountaineer football.
